Folder Album Artwork

Folder Album Artwork is used to automatically populate folder icons with the artwork contained in a folders audio files. If you’re missing artwork in your audio files, the artwork can be populated from iTunes. You can also convert images from one format to another.

• Note that starting in v2.1, the application produces icns files by storing fully formed png images as opposed to storing raw icon bitmaps as was required by older versions of OS X. If the size of the source image is sufficient, png images of 1024, 512, 256, 128, 64, 32 and 16 will be stored. Applications on Snow Leopard (10.6) will only be able to see the 512 and 256 renderings as the other sizes in png format were only available starting in 10.7. Images will only be scaled down so if your source image is 512x512 the 1024 image type will not be written to the icns file. Further, the @2x images which can be used by Retina displays are never included as they would be identical to the other variants due to there being only a single source image.
• The alternate icon producing mode has been removed.
• XBMC and tbn file support has been removed. The previous version was completely out of date with the last three years worth of XBMC releases.
